날씨가 쌀쌀해지고 다시 독감들이 기승을 부릴수 있는 계절입니다, 이맘때쯤
이면 어느정도는 다알고들 계시겠지만 그래도 한번더 생각하고 실천하자는
뜻에서 다시 한번 올려봅니다.
< 신종플루 예방법은 무엇인가? >
첫째, 손을 자주 씻고 손으로 눈, 코, 입을 만지는 것을 피하십시오.
- 외출해서 돌아왔을 때, 입·코를 만진후에는 손을 씻으십시오.
- 흐르는 물에 비누로 20초이상 씻으세요.
둘째, 재채기나 기침을 할 경우에는 휴지로 입과 코를 가리고 하고,
휴지를 버리고 손을 깨끗하게 씻으십시오.
- 휴지가 없을 경우 옷소매로 가리고 하십시오.
- 기침을 할 경우 가급적 마스크를 사용하십시오.
- 창문을 열어 자주 환기를 시키십시오.
셋째, 신종인플루엔자가 발생한 국가 방문한 후 7일 이내에 급성열성호흡기질환이 생기면 가까운 보건소에 신고해주시면 정확한 진단과 치료를 받으실 수 있습니다.
※ 급성열성호흡기질환 : 37.8℃이상의 발열이 있으면서, 인후통, 기침, 콧물 또는 코막힘 중에 1개이상 증상이 있을 경우

체내 면역력을 높이기 위해 우리가 꼭 지켜야 할 생활습관을 알아본다.
◇ 규칙적으로 운동하고 금연해야 = 사실 감기나 식중독 등의 감염 질환은 같은 감염원에 노출됐다고 하더라도 누구나 걸리는 것은 아니다.
이는 개인마다 환경에 적응하는 능력과 저항력, 즉 면역력에 차이가 있기 때문이다. 현대인의 면역력을 저하시키는 가장 흔한 요소를 들라면 스트레스, 운동부족, 균형 잡히지 않은 영양 섭취, 흡연을 꼽을 수 있다.
이 중에서도 많은 사람들이 면역력을 높이기 위해 특별한 보양식이나 계절식, 또는 보약(인삼, 녹용, 웅담 등) 등을 떠올리지만, 이런 특별한 것보다는 올바른 생활습관을 실천하는 게 더욱 중요하다고 전문가들은 지적하다.
◇ 손 씻기, 하면 할수록 좋다 = 한림대의료원 한강성심병원 감염내과 우흥정 수는 "손만 제대로 씻어도 감염질환의 60% 정도는 예방할 수 있다"면서 실생활에 서 반드시 손을 반드시 씻어야 하는 경우 10가지 상황을 제시했다.
10가지 상황은
① 돈을 만진 후 ② 애완동물과 놀고 난 후 ③ 콘택트렌즈를 빼기 전과 끼기 전
④ 코를 푼 후, 기침한 후, 재채기한 후 ⑤ 음식 차리기 전, 또는 음식 먹기 전
⑥ 요리하지 않은 식품이나 씻지 않은 식품, 육류를 만진 후 ⑦ 기저귀를 간 후
⑧ 환자와 접촉하기 전과 후 ⑨ 상처 만질 때, 상처를 만지고 난 후
⑩ 화장실 나올 때, 병균이 가장 많이 묻어 있는 수도꼭지나 문 손잡이, 공중전화기를 만졌을 때 등이다.
우 교수는 "아이들에게도 적어도 귀가 후, 식사 전, 화장실에 다녀올 때 정도는 반드시 손을 씻도록 가르쳐야 한다"면서 "손을 자주 씻는 게 결코 결벽증이 아니라는 사실을 주위 사람들에게도 주지시킬 필요가 있다"고 덧붙였다.
◇ 생활리듬 유지는 면역력의 관건
특히 저녁 11시부터 새벽 3시까지는 가장 깊은 잠을 자는 시간인 만큼 이 시간에는 반드시 잠자리에 들어야 한다.
